Are you passionate about disseminating your ideas regarding cultural events on one of the social networks or even in specialized publications?
Let's give your opinion the status of a review and the pictures taken during the festival the status of esteemed material in the theater world. Two mentors with extensive experience in theater and creative writing together with the team of the German State Theatre Timișoara have designed a training programme for this purpose, running from 20-30 September 2023, during the EUROTHALIA European Theatre Festival in Timișoara. The objective of the "Ph[r]ases" - Creative Formulas workshop is to produce reviews of performances and related events within EUROTHALIA, under the guidance of two coordinators, ready to turn your ideas into material to strengthen the legacy of an international festival.

The training programme is open to all those interested, regardless of their level of experience in the field of culture, drama, theater or journalism. Recommended age for participants: between 18-35 years old. Participants are asked to submit an original text of min. 150 and max. 500 words in digital format and in Romanian to the e-mail address eurothalia.opencall@gmail.com explaining why they wish to participate in this programme. By registering, the participant confirms that he/she is the author of the submitted material.
The materials will be evaluated by the programme mentors. The training programme will be in Romanian language and requires physical presence at the festival from 20-30.09.2023 in Timișoara. During this period, the creative writing courses will take place in the first part of the day, and the second part of the day will be spent attending the festival programme and gathering impressions on the spot.
Selected participants will have access through the training programme to both Eurothalia theatre performances and related events, as well as networking events and meetings of the organizing team.
