The German State Theatre Timisoara participates, in partnership with the Classical Theatre "Ioan Slavici" Arad and the Hungarian State Theatre "Csiky Gergely" Timisoara, in the project "Relații.Reacții.Reflecții" / Relations.Reactions.Reflections, an educational approach designed and created for young people from Timisoara high schools. Thus, the three theatres collaborated to produce a performance to be presented in the communities of young people in a setting familiar to them, in the classrooms/festival rooms, based on the text by Sînziana Koenig, Boyz and Girlz. The show will be performed in three languages, Romanian - Hungarian - German, and will address themes of interest to teenagers.

Therefore, 20 performances of this co-production will take place between 16 November and 11 December in 10 high schools in Timisoara (Electrotimiș Technical College, "Bartók Béla" Theoretical High School, "William Shakespeare" Theoretical High School, "Spiru Haret" UCECOM Technological High School, "Banatul" Sports High School, "Emanuil Ungureanu" Technical College, "Ana Aslan" National High School, "Regele Ferdinand I" Energetic Technological High School, "Constantin Diaconovici Loga" National High School) followed by debates between high school students and the artistic team on the themes addressed in the text, on the issue of relationships between teenagers with their peers, parents, or teachers, teenagers trying to find their place in society.

Boyz and Girlz, Sîniziana Koenig's story, is about lost young people trying to find their way in the chaotic world around them. How can we truly love when our human relationships are driven not by sincere curiosity but by the satisfaction of selfish desires? This is the question the show seeks answers to.

In addition, the project brings to the attention of high school students, their families and teachers, the performance of the theatre from Arad School and Family, after I.L. Caragiale, directed by Cristi Ban. There will be two performances at the German State Theatre Timișoara on 6 December 2023, at 16.00 and 19.00. The performance deals with themes such as school, education and family, topics that are part of the contemporary world issues. The performances will also be followed by discussion sessions between the audience and the artistic team.

"Starting from an artistic approach, we propose a non-formal social and educational project, aiming to bring young people into a relationship with themselves, with contemporary society and with theatre. At the same time, we want to help them understand themselves and develop new skills." - is the organisers' message about this co-production project.
