Harald Weisz

Actor

Harald Weisz was born in 1993 in Timisoara and studied acting in German at the Faculty of Music and Theatre of the Western University in Timisoara. He has been a member of the DSTT ensemble since 2014 and play directors such as Niky Wolcz, Laszlo Bocśardi, Yuri Kordonsky, Răzvan Mazilu, Silviu Purcărete, Alexander Hausvater, Kristóf Szabó have shaped his acting path.


Among the performances in which he has acted and performed are The Incredible and Sad Story of the Candid Eréndira and Her Soulless Grandmother by Gabriel Garcia Márquez as the Pastor; Kurt the God by Alberto Moravia as Saul; Katzelmacher. If it wouldn't be about love by Rainer Werner Fassbinder as Paul; Leonce and Lena by Georg Büchner as Valerio; Humans. For Sale by Carmen Lidia Vidu; The Jungle Book after Rudyard Kipling as Baloo the Bear; A Midsummer Night's Dream after William Shakespeare as The Tinker; Lysistrata 3.0 after Aristophanes as Kinesias; The Dragon by Evgheni Schwarz as Lancelot; The Theatre by Pascal Rambert as Heini.


In 2018 he received the award "Pro Cultura Timisiensis", for special achievements in the cultural field. He participated in various acting workshops led by Simon Schlingplässer, Radu Vulpe, Ida Jarcsek-Gaza, Miklós Bács, Andrea Gavriliu, Ștefan Lupu, as well as speech and voice training sessions led by Tim Schüler.
