Born on the 20th of January 1991, Oana Vidoni graduated Acting School – the German Department – in 2014, at the West University of Timișoara`s College of Theater and Music.
She started her collaboration with The German State Theater Timișoara in the 2011/2012 season, and from the 2014/2015 season she is a member of the theater`s artistic team, working with important directors such as: Alexandru Dabija, Răzvan Mazilu, Tompa Gabor, Silviu Purcărete, Volker Schmidt, Charles Muller.
In the 2016/2017 season, she became part of the international team which coproduced Antigone (directed by Bernhard Eusterschulte), where she played the main character. The performance was staged at Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen 2017, Theatre National du Luxembourg and Theater und Orchester Heidelberg.
She is an assistant director for numerous German State
Theater productions, which were staged by Carmen Lidia Vidu, Bocsárdi László,
Alex Mihăescu, or famous choreographers such as Răzvan Mazilu and Sergiu Matiș
She often participates at workshops of professional training: acting with Eugenio Barba, theatrical speech with Thomas Buts, Simon Schlingplässer, or Claudia Hartmann; theater-dance and modern and contemporary dance with Florin Fieroiu, Sergiu Matiș, Cosmin Manolescu, Simona Deaconescu, Kristóf Szabó, Toula Limnaios, Dorian Mallia, Louise Kelsey; and view-points with Cyrus Khambatta. Within the Gărâna summer school, she works with Miklos Bacs, Andrea Gavriliu, and Ștefan Lupu. There, she also studies the PEM Method (Perdekamp Emotional Method) under the supervision of Stephan Perdekamp and Sarah Victoria.
She closely collaborates with Unfold Motion Association at dance performances and she is a participant of artistic residences held in Denmark and Hungary.
